Privacy Policy

This policy covers TabFellow at tabfellow.com, operated by Hutts Enterprises.

What we collect

• Account data. The email, name, restaurant name, and password hash used to create and sign in to your account.
• Operational data. Menus, locations, tables, orders, reservations, and customer records you enter. This data lives in your tenant database and belongs to your restaurant — you are the controller of your guests' personal information.
• Technical data. Session cookie, basic request logs, and rate-limit counters needed to run and protect the service.

How we use it

• Provide the point-of-sale service, keep your session signed in, and send account emails such as password resets and staff invites.
• Bill your subscription and keep the service secure (rate limiting, abuse prevention, demo pruning).
• We do not sell your data, and we do not use your restaurant or guest data for advertising.

Who processes it

• Stripe processes subscription payments for TabFellow and, if you enable Stripe Connect, card payments at your register on your own Stripe account. We receive payment status and identifiers, not full card numbers.
• Hosting providers that run the service infrastructure, under our control.
• Email delivery for account and receipt mail, when configured.

Cookies

We set a single essential cookie, fpos_session (HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax), to keep you signed in. There is no advertising or third-party tracking cookie.

Retention and deletion

• Account and tenant data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after cancellation.
• Expired sessions and password-reset tokens are deleted automatically.
• Demo kitchens expire and are pruned after about 36 hours, including their data.

Your choices

You can update account details, remove staff logins, and export or delete records from inside the app. Guests who ordered from a restaurant should contact that restaurant about their data — it belongs to the restaurant, not to us.
